Minutes of the meeting of Executive Committee held on 11th May 2025 at Assembly Hall, Junior Section
17 EC members were present in the meeting.
Additionally 23 members of Praktani, who were present during the Summer Retreat expressed their interest and also joined the meeting
Head Master Swami Ishteshananda was also present during the meeting
1. As of 11th May 2025, all Praktanis will be considered to be member of NRVP by default. Anyone who is not a Life Member (LM), will be considered as an Ordinary Member (OM)
2. One must study at RKMV for at least consecutive 2 yrs to become a LM or OM
3. Effective today i.e. 11th May 2025, LM fee will be Rs 3000/- and OM fee will be Rs 1000/- (both one time) till any further revision
4. The EC committee will comprise of 25 members out of which 7 will be portfolio holders
5. One must pass the board exam from RKMV and be a LM to be in EC committee
6. Any batch to have 2 Batch Coordinators (BC) at max and all BCs must be LM
7. Head of BC post will be on hold till further notice
8. Also the EC members unanimously decided that the derogatory comments at the batch coordinator group by some members was extremely disappointing, distasteful and shameful. The EC members unanimously condemn such behaviour. All members are requested to refrain from making such posts. Admin of group may delete such posts from group in future.
Meeting followed by lunch at Advaitananda Bhavan with all retreat participants
